Yüksekokulumuzda yeni göreve başlayan akademik personelin mevcut sisteme ilişkin bilgilendirilmesi, görevli tüm akademik personelin hizmet içi gelişimine yönelik çalışma ve etkinliklerin programlanması ve yürütülmesini sağlar. Birimin Misyonu:

• Çukurova Üniversitesi Yabancı Diller Yüksekokulu’nda görev yapmakta olan öğretim elemanlarının kurum içi mesleki gelişimlerinin devamlığının sağlamak

• Kuruma yeni katılan öğretim elemanlarının kurum ve kurumun işleyişi hakkında bilgilendirmektir.

Mission:

  • The mission of SDU is to serve and support our academic staff at YADYO to help them maintain and enhance their knowledge and skills.

    Aim(s) of the Unit:

  • To encourage high quality learning and teaching to meet international standards.

SDU ACTIVITIES

Collaborative Action Research: It is an in-service teacher development program that holds the principles of “reflective practice” and “action research”. The participants act as “teacher researchers” and go through a process of self-observation and self-evaluation to identify and explore their practices and underlying beliefs to improve their teaching. At the end of these processes they are asked to write the reports of their studies and share with the other staff members.

Following is our participant teachers’ works presented as posters at 'Teachers Research!'  -- IATEFL ReSIG Annual International Conference & 5th Gediz University Annual Teacher Research Conference, in Izmir, Turkey, 18-19 June 2015.
